Wandisco PLC (AIM:WAND) told investors it signed a US$12.7mln contract with a “global automotive manufacturer” for data to be migrated to its cloud.
The one-off deal will see the customer’s ‘internet of things’ to be data transferred, with WANdisco anticipating that 80% of the contract revenues will be seen in this financial year.
It now expects revenues to be upwards of US$19mln, “significantly” ahead of expectations., while bookings will exceed US$116mln.
“This contract shows that WANdisco is the preferred choice for customers that want to seamlessly and securely migrate large-scale data,” said chief executive David Richards.
Earlier this week WANdisco announced a separate deal worth US$31mln with a “global telecommunications supplier,” for the transfer of its data.
