The 600 Group (AIM:SIXH) PLC, the industrial laser systems business, tumbled 25% to 8.7p after reporting a fall into the red in the first half.
The underlying pre-tax loss in the six months to 30 September 2022 was US$800,000, compared with a profit of US$100,000 in the first half of last year.
This was despite reporting a rise in revenue to US$17mln from US$15.2mln 12 months prior.
Looking forward, the group said that while recession, Covid variants and supply disruption concerns continue, it believes it has a good orderbook and backlog to be resilient to market changes, which should lead to improved shareholder value.
