The company said the University of Queensland Materials Performance consultancy (UQMP) verified that GMG’s THERMAL-XR when applied to aluminium reduces the surface temperature by around 15% in temperatures between 70C and 90C.

The net proceeds of the equity financing will be used for general working capital purposes, and to pay down a portion of the term loan under its existing credit agreement with The Bank of Nova Scotia. In connection with the equity financing, the company said it will pay a fixed fee of $134,227 (plus HST) to Jeffrey Mandel. Such fee (before tax) represents 4.5% of the total Equity Financing. The common shares issued under the first tranche of the equity financing are subject to a statutory resale restriction pursuant to Canadian securities laws which will expire on April 20, 2023.

Inc and Joseph Fiore resulting in the cancelation of a total of 36,272,684 common shares. Berkshire agreed to cancel 33,831,508 common shares and Fiore agreed to cancel 2,441,176 in exchange for a release of claims of outstanding legal claims between the parties. “I am pleased to report the cancelation of these shares representing over 10% of our current issued and outstanding shares,” said Timothy Matula, chief executive officer of SPYR Inc. “The company entered into this agreement to resolve outstanding legal claims between it and Berkshire and Fiore. I am glad to have resolved the company's claims in an informal matter that terminates Berkshire and Fiore's beneficial ownership in these shares, and returns them to treasury.”

The group also said that on December 19 it had received notice from the Namibian government that a Valued Added Tax (VAT) refund applicable to two VAT periods previously filed had been processed and Gratomic expects the refund of NAD 3.15 million (C$247,253) will be received within the next two weeks. Together, this amounts to NAD 6.35 million, or C$498,431.
