Spread bet firm CMC Markets has added environmental, social and governance (ESG) scores and data from Sustainalytics to assets tradeable on its Invest platform.
For funds (ETFs and Investment Trusts), investors can now see an overall sustainability rating, ESG risk scores, and which contentious product areas investments within the fund are involved in, as a percentage.
For shares, investors can see an overall ESG risk score, a controversy category rating, and which contentious product areas the company is and isn’t involved in.
Areas covered range from animal testing to nuclear power.
