Renforth Resources Inc (CSE:RFR, OTCQB:RFHRF) revealed it has begun planning a drill program for the first quarter next year targeting a never-before explored western anomaly at its Victoria nickel target at its Surimeau district property in Quebec, where the latest drilling is now complete.
Recently received data has established this western anomaly as a high-priority target, supported by results over the last two years, which included grab samples ranging from 0.1 up to 0.18% nickel, up to 0.4% zinc and up to 100 parts per million (ppm) cobalt.
The latest Surimeau drill program is now finished with 3,076 metres (m) sunk in 11 holes, all of which hit the targeted mineralization, resulting in the visual identification of nickel, copper and zinc sulphides.
"This program delivered more of the same as the last drill program, Victoria consistently demonstrates the presence of critical minerals, supporting our geophysical tools and reflecting what we have seen on surface," explained Nicole Brewster, the CEO of the company, in a statement.

"Now Lalonde, ~4km north of Victoria, is proving to also be consistently mineralized as indicated in geophysics, specifically the mag and EM survey.
"We know what we need to do, drill more, in order to quantify the amount of nickel, cobalt, copper and zinc (along with other metals), present at or near surface in these two areas of interest on the property. So, drilling is what we will do," she added.
Drilling at the Lalonde nickel structure consisted of seven holes designed to undercut the mineralized trenches and test an anomaly identified by survey data.
In the case of the drill holes undercutting the trenches, the mineralized zones seen on surface were successfully intersected underground, said the firm.
The final two holes were targeting an anomaly identified by an interpretation of the geophysical data within the magnetic structure that forms Lalonde and stretches beyond the around 9 kilometres (km) of the structure which Renforth has ground-proven.
"Both of these holes also intersected mineralization, the final hole was drilled at an angle in order to test the anomaly at depth under the road," said Renforth.
Meanwhile, at Victoria, four holes were drilled within the 2.2km east/west strike footprint of the drilling to date.
Renforth's wholly-owned 330 sq km Surimeau district project hosts several known areas of polymetallic "battery metals" mineralization.
The explorer also wholly owns the Parbec gold deposit, a surface gold deposit contiguous to the Canadian Malartic Mine property in Malartic, Quebec.
