Iofina PLC (AIM:IOF, OTC:IOFNF), a producer of iodine and manufacturer of specialty chemical products, said Iofina Chemical Inc (IC), its Kentucky, US-based specialty chemicals division, has been awarded ISO certification.
IC underwent a thorough evaluation process of its quality management system to achieve the internationally recognised standard, said AIM-traded Iofina PLC (AIM:IOF, OTC:IOFNF).
“This certification also shows that IC has strong, clearly defined procedures in place across the business, including document control, training, production, purchasing and process safety,” it added in a brief statement.
