Nerds On Site Inc (CSE:NERD, OTCQB:NOSUF) told investors it has completed a lengthy due diligence audit of an acquisition target as it prepares for the next phase of its business evolution.
The Canadian on-site and remote technology services provider also announced the launch of NOS National Partners, a central corporate services team.
The company said the acquisition target, a private US firm, provides contract technology services to state and local governments across several American states. The companies intend to move to the next step of negotiating a definitive agreement, it added.
"Both our leadership teams have become quite well acquainted during this 30-plus month process, and our cultures are remarkably similar and aligned,” commented Nerds On Site CEO Charlie Regan.

“The combined talent and services synergies on the cyber security managed security services and expanded government contract opportunities are substantial and game-changing for NERDs,” Regan added.
Expanding on the launch of NOS National Partners, Nerds said the centralized corporate team was introduced to manage multi-location and hard-to-define projects, including on-site technical support and services, for organizations throughout Canada and the US.
The process provides a centralized project management team that handles scope discovery, project setup, workflow creation, a network of subcontractors throughout North America, technician communications, problem resolution and final report delivery on a wide range of projects such clients require.
Since its inception, the company said the NOS National Partner team has completed a wide range of projects throughout both countries for clients in the law, healthcare, retail, manufacturing and entertainment industries, to name a few.
Nerds On Site, which operates in 10 cities across Canada and three US states - Florida, Nevada and North Carolina - has teams of carefully chosen technology specialists ready to visit homes or workplaces to diagnose problems on the spot and offer ongoing managed solutions to prevent problems occurring in the first place.
