Brookside Energy drilling ahead in horizontal section at Wolf Pack Well

Brookside Energy Ltd (ASX:BRK) is drilling ahead in the horizontal section of the high-impact Wolf Pack 36-25-1S-4W SXH 2 Well in Oklahoma’s world-class Anadarko Basin after landing the curve as planned.

Wolf Pack is the company’s first well in its Phase Two development drilling program in the SWISH Area of Interest (AOI).

Drilling is continuing with the curve of the well landed as planned in the selected bench of the Sycamore formation at a depth of around 9,900 feet.

Operations on schedule

The Latshaw Rig 12 is now drilling in the lateral (horizontal) section of the well at a measured depth of approximately 10,950 feet.

Brookside said that operations were proceeding on schedule, safely and without incident.

About Wolf Pack

Wolf Pack Well is operated by the company’s subsidiary Black Mesa Energy, LLC and is being drilled by Latshaw Rig 12 in Stephens County, Oklahoma.

The location of the Wolf Pack Well and Brookside’s four operated SWISH AOI DSUs.

It is a mid-length horizontal well targeting the Sycamore Formation at an average depth of about 9,750 feet.

The well will be drilled to a projected total measured depth of about 17,750 feet, with around 7,500 feet of lateral section drilled in the Sycamore that will subsequently be cased with production tubing to be perforated and treated to allow production of oil and rich gas.
