Kodiak Copper Corp CEO Claudia Tornquist joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has announced the results from its trenching program at the MPD copper-gold project in southern British Columbia. Those result include a new 2.2 kilometre gold-in-soil tend called Beyer. Tornquist telling Proactive the Beyer Zone had surface samples taken that returned 14.15 grams per tonne gold and 9.40 g/t silver. The Beyer Zone discovery is the first time sizable intervals of high-grade gold-silver mineralization have been trenched at the MPD project. The company says this area is slated for additional trenching and drilling as part of the 2023 program.
