Zamaz PLC (LSE:ZAMZ) said turnover is currently ahead of its business plan with annualised sales approaching £6mln at the end of its latest quarter.
The online retailer listed on the main market in September and since then it has acquired Italian online meat vendor Ecoarni and luxury foods business Eccellenze to add the existing Italian food online platform Bella Dispensa.
“As consumers migrate increasingly towards online shopping globally, the board sees tremendous opportunities to grow; to make further acquisitions and to aggregate an expanding portfolio of brands selling across multiple online and traditional channels,” said Martin Groak, chairman.
Results for the year to end-August 2022, the period prior to listing and before the Ecocarni and Eccellenze acquisitions, showed revenues were £1.7mln and losses before tax £1.32mln.
