Infinity Stone Ventures Corp (CSE:GEMS) revealed that it plans to refine drill targets by conducting an airborne UAV magnetic survey over its Zen-Whoberi project, located north of Mont Laurier, in Quebec.
The Vancouver-based company, which aims to be a diversified supplier for critical energy metals, said the survey will be around 600 line kilometers over a single block with detailed line spacing of 100 meters, as well as 25-meter spacing over the soil sampling grid completed by the company during the summer this year.
Infinity said the exploration team will be mobilized to the site in the upcoming week and the survey will be initiated shortly if the weather remains favorable for aviation.

Preliminary results from the UAV magnetic survey are expected in early January 2023. The survey results will assist Infinity Stone in defining new targets and better defining known mineralized zones, said the company.
"The geophysics survey at Zen-Whoberi is a key next step in the exploration of the project that will allow us to further define drill targets moving into 1Q of 2023. With a significant copper grade in excess of 15% discovered earlier this year at Zen, we are eager to further explore this potential resource, especially in the context of recent increases in copper and nickel prices," Infinity Stone CEO Zayn Kalyan said in a statement.
"Copper, cobalt, and nickel are all critical to the production of electric vehicle (EV) batteries and vehicles, as well as many other critical technologies. The Zen-Whoberi project is located close to infrastructure, including the Glencores' Horne smelter, and presents a strategic opportunity in the heart of the North American EV supply chain," he added.
Infinity’s 352-hectare Zen-Whoberi project has mineralization occurring with chalcopyrite, bornite, pyrite, and pyrrhotite, along with massive sulphides. Anomalous levels of gold, platinum, and palladium have been observed in most drilling, according to the company.
Surveys have discovered high-grade copper in sulphide areas and previous excavations have discovered additional findings of gold, platinum, and palladium. Copper mineralization occurs as a skarn in the form of disseminated sulphides in calcosilicate rocks, added the firm.
