Frontier IP Group PLC (AIM:FIPP, OTC:FGPPF) noted that The Vaccine Group, one of its portfolio companies, has successfully completed an Anglo-Chinese project to develop a vaccine against the most common types of Streptococcus suis.
Frontier IP Group holds a 17% equity stake in The Vaccine Group (TVG), whose vaccine may remove the need for antibiotics that are shown to be less resistant to the disease.

Firstly, the BENEFIT-PDT study in 322 pre-surgical patients demonstrated that treatment with Ondine's photodisinfection technology reduced Staphylococcus aureus colonisation in the nostrils in 86% of cases.
