Healixa Inc (OTC:EMOR) said it has expanded its advisory board with the appointment of former Acting Secretary of Defense of the United States Christopher Miller.
Healixa CEO Ian Parker said Miller brought a wealth of experience to the company that provides immense value as it moves into the commercialization of its Global Aquaduct atmospheric water harvesting technology.
“As we prepare Healixa to move to the next level in the public markets it is important that we continue to add diverse expertise and insight to our team,” he said.

“Chris' relationships and experience in government, defense, and national security will be extremely helpful to our company's growth and development," Parker added.
A retired US Army officer, Miller held the position of Acting Secretary of Defense from November 9, 2020, until January 20, 2021, and has previously served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Combating Terrorism and Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Counterterrorism and Transnational Threats at the National Security Council.
In a statement announcing his appointment, Miller described Healixa’s water technology as a game-changer.
“I served in the military and Department of Defense for 38 years and wish I had a Healixa water machine when deployed overseas, it would have revolutionized how we operated and the support we provided our partners and local populations in need,” he said.
“Water is a new national security priority and I'm honored and privileged to be part of Healixa's transformative journey. They are changing the world for the better."
