Wolf Minerals Ltd (LON:WLFE) shares fell on Friday after the firm settled a dispute with GR Engineering over a contract for the Hemerdon tungsten and tin project.

GR Engineering secured a contract with Wolf in 2013 for the engineering, procurement and construction of the project in Devon, south England.

Wolf had claimed that GR Engineering failed to fix an issue with noise emissions and vibrations at the project that led the company to voluntarily shut down operations on weekends to maintain relationships with local communities.

KEFI Minerals plc (LON:KEFI) was also a Friday mover after the company started the community resettlement at its Tulu Kapi gold project in western Ethiopia.

The gold exploration and development company said it will now begin preparations for community resettlement, which flow from new Ethiopian government leadership at several levels since the appointment of the new prime minister Abiye Ahmed.

Earlier in the week, Connemara Mining Company PLC (LON:CON) announced a maiden inferred resource estimate at its Stonepark zinc project located in Limerick, Ireland.

The headline mineral resource estimate is 5.3mln tonnes grading 11.15% zinc + lead combined. The zinc (Zn) grade was 8.55% and the lead (Pb) grade was 2.60%.

The deposit is relatively shallow, Connemara noted, occurring at depths ranging from 190 metres to 395 metres.

Meanwhile Brazil-focused Harvest Minerals Limited (LON:HMI) expanded its sales team and manufacturing plant for its KPfertil fertiliser product ahead of product certification and a mining permit.

The company has been producing KPfertil on a trial basis in anticipation of a permit from Brazil’s Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA).

Last month, the company signed a sales agreement with Brazilian fertiliser distributor Agrocerrado.

Sunrise Resources Plc (LON:SRES) said recent exploration work at its Baker's Gold Project in Western Australia had enhanced the marketability of the asset.

The company paid for mapping and sampling within the Dicky Lee open pit at the up-for-sale Baker's Gold Project and to conduct infill soil sampling within the nearby DRL4 gold-in-soil anomaly.

Elsewhere Greatland Gold plc (LON:GGP) commenced the first drilling campaign at its 100%-owned Havieron licence in the Paterson region of Western Australia.

In a statement further to its announcement on 14 February 2018, the AIM-listed group confirmed that the drilling campaign at Havieron includes plans for up to four vertical holes for a total of approximately 2,400 metres.

Dialogue between Tertiary Minerals plc (LON:TYM) and the relevant authorities in Sweden continues to make constructive progress in regard to the potential development of the Storuman fluorspar project, according to chief executive Richard Clemmey.

“Given that we continue to have support from the majority of key stakeholders, we remain hopeful of a positive resolution to the mine permit re-assessment process in the near future,” he said.

Sirius Minerals PLC (LON:SXX) told investors that its debt-for-equity offer has received acceptances accounting for US$63.8mln.

The UK mine developer earlier this month offered holders of its convertible bonds the opportunity to make an early switch to equity, offering them additional incentive shares along with the due equity.

And ECR Minerals PLC (LON:ECR) added to its portfolio in Victoria, Australia with the acquisition of the Creswick gold project at no cost.

The site is believed to be highly prospective for the yellow metal hosted within the Dimocks Main Shale (DMS) and only two holes have been drilled to test this area, both in the 1990s.

The results included an intercept of 2 meters (m) at 12.28 g/t (grams per ton) gold, while the highlight was to the south of the Creswick project area at 2 m at 176 g/t gold.
