Some of the major news-driven share price changes at 3.45pm.

RISERS

Stride Gaming PLC (LON:STR), up 13% to 273p. Told investors on Monday that it expected to beat expectations this year after strong trading.

Andes Energia PLC (LON:AEN), up 9% to 16p. Appointed renowned businessman Sir Michael Rake to its board as an independent non-executive director.

Sunrise Resources Plc (LON:SRES), up 6% to 0.23p. Said its activities can come across as “complex” so published a business overview which seemed to reassure investors.

 

FALLERS

Mitie Group PLC (LON:MTO), down 28% to 193p. Said it continues to feel the effects of “significant economic pressures” and, as a result, expects full year operating profits to miss expectations.

Avarae Global Coins PLC (LON:AVR), down 13% to 10.9p. Told investors it won’t be issuing a dividend after turning a loss in the 12 months to March.

Sprue Aegis Group (LON:SPRP), down 8% to 145p. Revenues for the six months to the end of June fell more than 50% compared to last year.

RISERS

W.H. Ireland Group plc (LON:WHI), up 35% to 136p. Management confirmed press speculation that Kuwaiti European Holdings is looking to acquire an interest in the group.

Sepura PLC (LON:SEPU), up 18% to 18.26p. Both Schroders and Henderson Group plc upped their stakes in the company today.

Redx Pharma Plc (LON:REDX), up 10% to 35.6p. Told investors that its flagship cancer treatment seemed to improve the immune system response of some cancer models when used in conjunction with existing an immunotherapy.

 

FALLERS

Alba Mineral Resources plc (LON:ALBA), down 16% to 0.22p. Raised £900,000 through a placing of 450mln shares at 0.2p per share.

Gama Aviation PLC (LON:GMAA), down 12% to 160p. Group profit fell 8% to US$27.9mln in the six months to June, despite revenues increasing.

Maintel Holdings plc (LON:MAI), down 11% to 1009p. Swung to a loss before tax in the six months to the end of June.

Clontarf Energy PLC (LON:CLON), up 24% to 0.71p. Accepted in principle revised Tano Basin acreage coordinates by Ghanaian officials.

TETHYS PETROLEUM LIMITED (LON:TPL), up 20% to 1.5p. Released an update this morning stating that it had received more working capital from Olisol as the two firms continue to work together to complete the C$9.8mln private placing.

 

FALLERS

Adgorithms Ltd (LON:ADGO), down 20% to 21p. Announced this morning that revenues were down after a difficult period in the ad-tech industry.

Watchstone Group PLC (LON:WTG), down 16% to 181.7p. Released a series of corrections to its underlying and total loss per share for its June 2015 and June 2016 results.
