RISERS

UK Oil & Gas Investments PLC (LON:UKOG), up 11%. Celtique Energie Holdings Limited has taken a 3.9% stake in the company.

Altitude Group PLC (LON:ALT), up 7.1%. Chairman Peter Hallett has bought 135,000 shares in the company at 17p each.

Patisserie Holdings PLC (LON:CAKE), up 6.8%. Old Mutual’s stake has fallen below 5% to 4.91%.

FALLERS

Serabi Gold PLC (LON:SRB), down 4.1%. Half-year results showed a sharp quarter-on-quarter reduction in profit before tax.

OptiBiotix Health plc (LON:OPTI), down 4.0%. Warrant holders have converted warrants into 100,000 OptiBiotix shares at an exercise price of 8p per share.

Epwin Group PLC (LON:EPWN), down 2.5%. The building product’s firm first half performance was in line with the board’s expectations.

RapidCloud International PLC (LON:RCI), up 48%. The south-east Asian software firm has been appointed by giant e-commerce company Alibaba.com as an authorised Gold Supplier membership channel sales partner for Malaysia.

Restaurant Group PLC (LON:RTN), up 13%. The old CEO has left and will be replaced by Andy McRue, formerly boss of Irish bookie Paddy Power.

LOSERS

Milestone Group PLC (LON:MSG), down 8.3%. The digital media and technology solutions provider has signed a cooperation agreement to provide NaPo Limited with a white label version of its Backstage HD digital platform and money-over-IP financial platforms.

Central Rand Gold Limited (LON:CRND), down 5.0%. All resolutions at today’s AGM were passed.

RISERS

Ortac Resources Limited (LON:OTC), up 21%. The company provided an update on its investment in CASA Mining, which revealed the gold resource potential has increased at its Akyanga gold prospect in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

IronRidge Resources Limited (LON:IRR), up 9.8%. The company has sealed the deal with Tekton flagged earlier this week.

Zoltav Resources Inc (LON:ZOL), up 9.8%. Stephen Lowden is to stand down as a non-executive director.

FALLERS

West African Minerals Corporation (LON:WAFM), down 18%. The company has changed its broker, which is often the precursor to a fund-raising.

Genus PLC (LON:GNS), down 10%. The court case involving Genus's Genus Sexed Semen rumbles on, with the latest three rulings going against Genus.

Cloudbuy PLC (LON:CBUY), down 7.0%. The cloud-based e-commerce marketplaces operator saw turnover slip 9% in the first half of the year from the preceding six month period.  Note: Shares subsequently moved sharply into positive territory on the day.
