Thungela Resources Limited was formed when the South African Thermal Coal Operations demerged from Anglo American and listed on the JSE and LSE in June 2021. The company owns interests in, and produces, its thermal coal predominantly from seven mining operations, which are exported mainly to the Indian, Asian, SEA, Middle East and North African markets.
