Stobart Group aims to continuously review and investigate initiatives to reduce its consumption of energy, waste and water and, where possible, report our actual and target levels.

Responsible to our communities

Stobart aims to actively engage with stakeholders and local communities within all areas of our business to provide ongoing support with community development initiatives and to make a positive contribution to the area in which we operate.

The Group’s approach is overseen on behalf of the Board by our Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, which comprises a number of senior managers from across the Group and is chaired by Chief Financial Officer, Richard Laycock

Stobart Energy

Stobart Energy is the number one supplier of biomass in the UK, sourcing and supplying fuel to biomass plants under long-term contracts.

Stobart Aviation

Stobart Group owns and operates London Southend Airport and Carlisle Lake District Airport where passenger growth is the focus. The division aims to:

- Capitalise on demand for regional airport capacity, especially in the South East

- Promote London Southend Airport as Europe's fastest growing airport and the highest ranked in the UK by Which? for customer satisfaction

- Secure new airline operators and provide untapped routes, bringing passengers to London and the South East from the UK and Europe.

Stobart Air, which was formerly known as Aer Arann, is owned by Stobart Group along with other investors.

Stobart Rail

Stobart Rail provides specialist rail, civil and infrastructure engineering and management services to third party customers including Network Rail, as well as to Group businesses such as Stobart Energy assisting with its green energy investment plans.

Stobart Investments

Our Investments division encompasses our non-controlling interests in Eddie Stobart (logistics) of which Stobart Group has a 49% investment and Propius (aircraft leasing) whose aircraft are leased to Stobart Air.
