During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2008, the Company’s principal activities consisted of the sale of international and domestic travel. The Company’s consultants organize flights, hotels, holidays, car hire, insurance, cruises, rail passes, travel insurance, coach tours, visas, traveler's checks and frequent flyer points redemption. Its call center provides worldwide 24-hour service to assist customers. On January 21, 2008, the Company acquired a 50% shareholding in Employment Office Australia Pty Ltd, a Brisbane-based recruitment business. On January 31, 2008, Flight Centre (USA) Inc., a subsidiary of Flight Centre Limited, acquired 100% of the equity of Liberty Travel Inc., a travel agency group based in the United States. On August 1, 2008, Flight Centre Limited formed an adventure travel joint venture with Melbourne-based operator, Intrepid.
