Siegel, who talked to Proactive Investors Stocktube about his blockchain focussed group TwentyThirty, says the easy money is “not even close” to being made yet.

The entrepreneur says everyone should put around 10% of their investments in ‘crypto assets’.

He acknowledges, however, that this is frontier investing and there’s a “tremendous” amount of volatility in cryptocurrencies.

Cairn Energy shares set to advance another 16% says Zak Mir Cairn Energy PLC (LON:CNE) shares may be set to advance another 16%, according to technical analyst Zak Mir, who dissects the oiler’s share price chart.

Mir, in a Tip TV segment for Proactive Investors, highlighted that in early 2016 the share broke above the 200-day moving average and last March there was a ‘golden cross’ buy signal triggering an uptrend in the chart.

“That momentum has been maintained. In the current situation you’re probably looking for the share to just make a little bit more progress,” he said.

Mir says the top of the rising trend channel is as high as 280p.

Sirius Minerals shares can see “better levels” relatively soon Sirius Minerals PLC (LON:SXX) shares can push back to “better levels”, according to technical analyst Zak Mir, who says the support in chart is at 21p per share.

Mir, in a Tip TV segment for Proactive Investors, says cautious investors may wait and watch for the price to move above 23.75p (which would represent a break above the 200-day moving average).

“Ideally there won’t be any sustained price action back below 20p ahead of a new leg to the upside,” he added.

Copper prices to consolidate before rising again says technical analyst Zak Mir The copper price has been boosted by promises that US president elect Donald Trump will spend one trillion dollars on infrastructure, but it is probably time for the price to consolidate according to technical analyst Zak Mir.
In a Tip TV segment for Proactive Investors, the technical analyst notes that the copper price had hit the top of a rising trend channel, in the daily chart, and he says it looks as though there’ll be a consolidation in the price towards the US$2.30 to US$2.40 per pound level.
“Then hopefully the metal will bounce again,” he added.
“The reason for optimism is that all the near term moving averages are currently rising very sharply, so as long as we hold above the 2.30 to 2.40 zone one would expect a continued recovery.”

BATM boss Zvi Marom highlights victory for hotly contested new business BATM Advanced Communications (LON:BVC) was the preferred choice in a very competitive selection process as it landed a deal with a major high speed network provider, explains chief executive Zvi Marom.

“It was a very demanding bid, a very demanding proof of concept and I’m glad that from all the people that have been tested they have chosen us to bring the network,” Marom said in a Proactive Investors interview.

The BATM boss notes that the initial contract will be worth between US$1.5-2.5mln, though he says it can be extended and there is scope for further revenues.

“We believe that in due course the network will be up and running, somewhere early next year, and they might have some more demand,” he added.

He also highlights the progress of the group’s separate molecular biology unit - Zvi says he will keep investors curious ahead of a key industry event in Germany two weeks from now.

The drug developer now intends to transpose the patent protections in Finland across some 150 countries covered by international co-operation arrangements, and it will separately file into the US patents office.

“So this was the very initial filing and we are really happy that we got the claims accepted and it is a very significant step for us.”

Private investors beat ‘so-called professionals’! Zak Mir tips Anglo American to keep rising Fighting to hold back a wry grin Zak Mir says highlights that everyday investors called Anglo American Plc’s (LON:AAL) rally better than the hedge funds – as he highlighted press reports over the weekend of one notable fund losing over £100mln on short trades gone wrong.

“Looks like private investors got [Anglo American] more right than the so-called professionals,” Mir said in a Tip TV segment for Proactive Investors.

Mir notes that the Anglo American chart displayed one of his ‘key signals’ earlier this year - as it ‘gapped’ through the 50-day moving average. He adds that the shares are trading in an upwards trend channel, and buying has come in on dips.

“We could still get up to £12.50 or £13.00 over the next month or two if the market continues to rise."

Shell vs Tullow Oil: As oil prices are rising which is THE buy Zak ‘King of Charts’ Mir puts the spotlight on London oil stocks Royal Dutch Shell Plc (LON:RDSB) and Tullow Oil plc (LON:TLW) amid rising oil prices and in the wake of the EU referendum vote.

The technical analyst highlights that both charts show stocks that have tracked higher through 2016, as crude recovered, though Mir points out that Shell has been the outperformer in the months following the referendum vote, whilst Tullow was the underperformer.

He notes that before the vote, which triggered a rush toward big dollar earning companies, Shell was not looking too clever, as it maintained its dividend despite falling profits.

But since then, the attention has the oiler’s dollar earner status and, Mir says, investors haven’t really cared about the earnings situation. He adds that crude moving back above US$50 a barrel now underpins companies like Shell.
