Katie is a senior reporter at Proactive Investors. Katie has reported from countries around the globe — including Uganda, South Sudan, DRC, Somalia, Colombia, China and more. She was a recipient of the Goff Penny Award for Young Canadian Journalists, the Diane King Stuemer Fellowship and the IDRC Award for International Development Journalism. More recently, she worked as a director at Discourse Media. Previously, she worked in a senior communications role with Canada’s largest investment bank, RBC Global Asset Management.
