''We decided there was a need in the world for a new form of advertising, a new form of video advertising ... where the ads themselves appear in the content completely naturally, so they look like they were always there but they don't interrupt the audience experience''.

''We've worked with some tremendous clients ... brands such as Samsung ...household name brands with very large budgets in most cases and a need to reach very large audiences''.

''Delivering a new, new proposition to the media world at a global scale is just thrilling ... I'm very excited about 2018 and the years following'', Popkiewicz says.

Audioboom looking for more partners in India and US Robert Proctor chief executive of Audioboom (LON:BOOM) said the company is in talks with a various potential partners in the US, including a number of radio stations, as well as looking at more deals in India, following on from its agreement with Eros International last month.

Audioboom, which now has around 4.7mln registered users, expects to have around 35mln active unique users – anyone who has listened to a whole piece of content – this month, despite fewer days in February.

“The way we stay ahead of everybody else is to focus on our platform product, make more functionality that more publishers want and that gives us more clients, more distribution and more advertising.”

Audioboom CEO says Russell Brand will be ‘first of many’ celebrities using platform Robert Proctor, the chief executive of Audioboom (LON:BOOM), tells Proactive Investors the company’s partnership with Russell Brand will be the first deal of many with celebrities from the entertainment business.

Proctor says Brand’s contract with Audioboom is worth less than £1 million, adding that he is ‘unbelievably committed’ to the product in the run-up to the next election. 

The news accompanies the group’s full-year results, which showed a growing userbase that it hopes will help it to generate revenues by the end of 2015.
