The award of the CE mark means Feedback can now sell TexRAD Lung to hospitals, satisfying the quality, safety and performance standards required for medical devices in the European Union.

This particular version of the product will help doctors diagnose and treat people with lung cancer, the most common and most deadly form of the disease.

'Undoubtedly an exciting time for Texrad' says Feedback plc Chairman Feedback plc (LON:FDBK) chairman Alastair Riddell caught up with Proactive's Andrew Scott to discuss their latest results and outlook for the company.

They’re a leader in medical image processing and analysis with their lead product Texrad - a software instrument for analysing medical images, in particular looking at cancer deposits in the Liver.

Riddell tells Proactive: ''All imaging nowadays is digital and this software  ... has become a very impressive research tool for increasing the diagnostic specificity of image analysis of livers with tumour deposits''.

''We will be developing new products that look at chest and lung cancer''.

Riddell adds: ''This is undoubtedly an exciting time for Texrad ...  the growth and interest in what it's doing, the increasing publications that we're getting,  the recognition it's achieving and I think the potential it has for general adoption - not just by research scientists but by general radiological practitioners - should give us a much larger revenue growth in the future''.

Cap-XX chief: A year of strong growth and ahead of market expectations Anthony Kongats, chief executive of super-capacitor specialist Cap-XX Limited (LON:CPX), spoke to Proactive about the company's full year results and plans for future partnerships.

''It's been a good year, it's always nice to be a little ahead of market expectations. We've beaten revenue by 12%, our margin has improved significantly going from 31% to 52% and we've delivered on a major deal with AVX which is for licensing our technology and comes with guaranteed upfront fees plus also quarterly payments and then a royalty on sales'', Kongats said.

He added Murata is now showing very strong growth and for the second year in a row has more than doubled its royalties and its own sales to us.''

Anthony Kongats also mentioned they've seen very strong progress on the automotive side with a lot of interest and developing new products. He said they're now in discussions with a number of parties about how they're going to enter the automotive market.

Stadium Group PLC poised to power forward as order book grows Stadium Group plc (LON:SDM) enjoyed a solid first half of 2016 as it continued to make the transition from an electronics manufacturing services group to a design-led technology company.
Chief executive officer Charlie Peppiatt explains to Proactive that the transition has been aided by some astute acquisitions, such as Stontronics, which is performing very well. “As an organisation, we remain acquisitive by nature,” Peppiatt said, and any acquisitions it makes would be required to accelerate the current strategy. In the meantime, the company is well-placed to deliver organic growth on the back of previous investments made.

ITM Power CEO confident of more hydrogen fuel deals as acceptance grows ITM Power's PLC (LON:ITM) contract to supply hydrogen fuel to the Commercial Group's fleet of vehicles is only one of a number of fuel supply deals under negotiation says Graham Cooley.

It is evidence of the growing acceptance of hydrogen as an alternative fuel source, Cooley says, a trend that will be boosted further as ITM opens more refuelling stations in the UK.

PhotonStar developing an advanced IoT platform, says chief LED light designer and manufacturer PhotonStar LED Group PLC (LON:PSL) is moving into the Internet of Things (IoT) space as well as continuing with its next generation lighting.

James McKenzie, chief executive, tells Proactive Investors the company has developed “a really advanced next generation IoT platform”, to control not only lighting, but heating and other appliances in the home.

He says the next few quarters are “about getting the trials completed installed” and “really demonstrating benefits to customers”, followed by a large roll-out.

Cap-XX chief hails AVX deal as strong validation of its technology Anthony Kongats, chief executive of super-capacitor specialist Cap-XX Limited (LON:CPX), joins Proactive to discuss its interim results and the company’s licence agreement with US manufacturer AVX Corporation.

He says the AVX deal is a “really strong signal to the market the Cap-XX technology is not only strong from a patent point of view but also from a value point of view.”

Last month, the company reported interim results that were hit by slower orders as the market in general has weakening demand, but Kongats adds that he expects sales to be “picking up in the near term”.


He says the company will continue to look for partnerships this year, either in the form of joint ventures or licence agreements, to push forward its pipeline of new products including Thinline and Truckstart.

Stadium Group plc chief says strategy proven by recent contract wins Charlie Peppiatt, chief executive of electronics firm Stadium Group plc (LON:SDM) says the spate of recent contracts the company has won from “respected players in different spaces” reinforces its strategy.

The firm extended its supply partnership with Trak Global, a UK telematics business, winning a manufacturing contract worth around £5mln.

Looking ahead to 2016, the CEO says he expects to see continued growth on the top line, and is looking for that to continue down to the company’s earnings.

APC Technology boss says strategy review progressing well Richard Hodgson, the recently appointed chief executive of APC Technology (LON:APC), discusses the company’s strategy review and plans to deliver a more focused and profitable business.

Hodgson, APC’s former finance chief is working with chairman Leonard Seelig following the departure of former CEO Mark Robinson in August.

CAP-XX CEO Kongats comments on “transformational year” Anthony Kongats, chief executive of CAP-XX (LON:CPX) explains why he feels the last twelve months have been transformational for the business.

CAP-XX makes super-capacitors, which extend battery run-time and enable ultra-quick charging times for mobile phones, vehicles and medical devises.

Today the Australia-based firm told investors it had reduced losses and boosted sales in the year to June 30 as the roll-out of its Thinline range of super-capacitors gathered pace.

Sales rose 10% to A$4.4mln from A$4mln the previous year as losses narrowed to A$1.8mln from A$2.5mln.

APC Technology Group CEO: We’re well-funded for next stage of growth Mark Robinson, chief executive of APC Technology Group (LON:APC), says the company is now well funded to reach the next stage of its growth.

‘If we were to consider all the opportunities that we are addressing, then it’s a very exciting future for us,’ Robinson says. ‘The way the market is changing, who knows where this might lead which is a very good position to be in’.
