Haydale Graphene signs supply agreement for its anti-counterfeiting technology Ray Gibbs, chief executive of Haydale Graphene Industries PLC (LON:HAYD), tells Proactive they've entered into a commercial supply and development agreement with Australia-listed Talga Resources.

The tie-up will see the two work together to produce, market and sell jointly-developed transparent conductive ink products using graphene for industrial applications in Asia.

The two companies – which have been working together for a few years now – will look to enhance the properties of Haydale’s graphene-based, transparent conductive ink by using Talga’s highly conductive graphitic materials.

Bango launches carrier billing for Netflix in Mexico Bango plc (LON:BGO), the mobile payments company, has launched carrier billing for Netflix subscriptions in Mexico. Customers who sign up to Netflix, the media streaming giant, can now charge the monthly subscription cost to their pre- or post-paid mobile phone bill. Ray Anderson, Bango CEO tells Proactive the direct carrier billing platform is proving very popular with Mexico's 12M mobile users who can now simply add Netflix costs to their phone bill.

BATM bags $4M cyber security contract Zvi Moram, CEO at BATM Advanced Communications Limited (LON:BVC) tells Proactive about the large-scale cyber security monitoring/encryption technology that has just seen BATM awarded a significant new contract. Kromek CEO confident of EBITDA break-even this financial year Arnab Basu, the chief executive officer of Kromek Group PLC (LON:KMK), tells Proactive they've seen a solid increase in revenue in the six months to the end of October.

Revenue rose 27% to £4.8mln from £3.8mln the year before, leading to a significant narrowing of underlying losses (LBITDA) to £0.3mln from a loss the year before of £0.6mln.

The company is targeting break-even at the EBITDA level and remains on course to achieve this.

SQS Software Quality Systems agrees £281.3mln takeover by Assystem Technologies The AIM Journal's Andrew Hore talks through a takeover offer by Assystem Technologies for digital business developer SQS Software Quality Systems (LON:SQS).

The offer means SQS shareholders will be entitled to 825p in cash for each of their shares, valuing the firm at around £281.3mln.

Tavistock Investments profits to soar after first half that 'couldn't have gone much better' Brian Raven, fund manager Tavistock Investments PLC's (LON:TAVI) chief executive, says the growing momentum in their discretionary funds business can see profits jump to £5mln in the not too distant future.

Tavistock swung into profit in the first half and has forecast more to come as funds under its management more than doubled. The launch of three new funds under its Acumen brand helped the amount under management rise by 130% to £745mln.

Revenues in the discretionary business, which fully manages investors’ money, was £1.52mln in the six months compared to £1.66mln for the whole of the previous year.

Bango extends platform to Amazon Prime and Amazon Student in Japan Ray Anderson, chief executive of Bango plc (LON:BGO), updates Proactive's Andrew Scott on the mobile payment group's move into Amazon Prime and Amazon Student in Japan.

Earlier this year, the company launched direct carrier billing (DCB) for Amazon shoppers, but now Prime members can pay for their subscriptions using the service as well.

Direct carrier billing makes it easier to complete online purchases as customers don’t have to fill in their card details each time. Instead they select the DCB option and the cost is added to the next phone bill.

The extended service is available to KDDI and NTT DOCOMO customers, which account for around three-quarters of all mobile subscribers in Japan.

The secure payments specialist swung to a first-half profit as growth in its US operations boosted revenue.

The company posted profit before tax of £1.5mln for the period compared to a loss of £0.2mln in the same period a year ago.

The US secure business won seven contracts in the first half worth a total value of US$5.1mln, compared to three contracts last year worth US$2.7mln.

The tech uses proprietary software codes and a specialty graphene-based, transparent conductive ink.

Bango Plc's Ray Anderson sees big opportunities to grow African footprint Ray Anderson, chief executive of Bango plc (LON:BGO), caught up with Proactive after a busy few weeks travelling around India and Africa.

Bango's platform is now being used by Nigerian mobile network operator 9mobile to enable purchases through Google Play.

Through the 9mobile 9pay wallet, customers in Nigeria can pay for media, games, apps and digital content in Google Play with one-click, without the need to own a credit card or bank account.

Anderson adds they've also partnered with a company called Victory Link in Egypt which will allow Bango app store and merchant partners to launch carrier billing across all three Egyptian mobile operators.

AdEPT Telecom's 2017 acquisitions performing better than expected Ian Fishwick, chief executive of AdEPT Telecom plc (LON:ADT) caught up with Proactive to chat through the group's interims to the end of September.

The group is following a ‘buy and build’ strategy and contributions from OurIT (six months) and Atomwide (two months) helped revenues match earnings with a 36% rise to £22.6mln.

Profit before tax increased to £2.1mln (2016: £1.5mln) while cash generated went up by 20% to £3.8mln. The dividend rose by 13% to 4.25p, which had been previously flagged.
