<p>The technology allows G83D to reconstruct a virtual 3D set of the environment, actors and effects. Next, G83D animates stereo cameras and projects the original shot onto a virtual set.</p>
<p>This takes the guesswork out of spatial relationships and means that complex visual effects and hair shots have natural volume and depth, with no artifacts.</p>
<p>"No other technique can deliver guaranteed quality across a wide variety of shots, which is why we've built our entire G83D conversion process and toolset on this system,&rdquo; says Bennison.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.proactiveinvestors.com/companies/overview/4448/Gener8" class="companyPopupTrigger" rel="4448">Gener8</a> says its process seamlessly integrates with shots filmed using native stereo 3D camera rigs, providing filmmakers with far more flexibility in cases when shooting in native 3D isn't possible or shots need to be fixed.</p>
<p>"Since we create in true 3D, converted and native shots flow naturally,&rdquo; adds Bennison.</p>
<p>The company notes its G83D stereo pipeline is supported by efficient production management, allowing for the conversion of hundreds of shots or an entire film without any compromises on delivery time or quality.</p>

<p>Indeed, <a href="http://www.proactiveinvestors.com/companies/overview/4448/Gener8" class="companyPopupTrigger" rel="4448">Gener8</a> says it is looking at taking its G83D process abroad and tapping into the Asian and Indian markets that are eager to convert their own content.</p>
<p>China and India, large amounts are being invested in building massive 3D-enabled complexes to meet demand as the middle class population grows.</p>
<p>"3D is very strong at box office outside of North America,&rdquo; says the company's CEO. &ldquo;Revenues are better with 3D.&rdquo;</p>
<p>Initial costs for a cinema to install a 3D projection system are in the $100,000 to $200,000 range, so the millions of dollars of revenue generated in the theatre are worth the cost.</p>
<p>In any case, the company predicts that in the next two to three years, every theatre will have to migrate to a digital format (which is required for 3D) as analogue film is going to be phased out.</p>
<p>"3D is also making a real push into the home," says Armes. &ldquo;There are currently about 17 to 20 million 3D-enabled T.V.s in people&rsquo;s homes, but that number is expected to skyrocket to 170 million over the next three years as companies produce all their HD televisions with 3D capabilities.&rdquo;</p> ]]></description>

<p>The company had announced the $1.5 million financing in February 2012, and was over-subscribed for around $1.56 million in gross proceeds.</p>
<p>The company sold a series of units at a price of $0.15 each. Each unit consisted of one common share and one half common share purchase warrant, with each whole warrant entitling the holder to purchase one additional common share at a price of 25 cents each, within a year and half from closing.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.proactiveinvestors.com/companies/overview/3699/Digital+Shelf+Space" class="companyPopupTrigger" rel="3699">Digital Shelf Space</a> said that if its common shares trade above 35 cents for a period of 10 consecutive trading days, the warrants, if unexercised, will expire 30 days afterwards.</p>
<p>The new funds will be used toward marketing and advertising, content development, new projects, transaction and related expenses, as well as working capital and general corporate purposes, the company said.</p>
<p>In connection with the private placement, <a href="http://www.proactiveinvestors.com/companies/overview/3699/Digital+Shelf+Space" class="companyPopupTrigger" rel="3699">Digital Shelf Space</a> paid a cash commission to Fin-XO that was equal to seven percent of the gross proceeds. In addition to product sales directly through the GSP RUSHFIT website (www.gsprushfit.com), wholesale revenues grew by 26 percent in the third quarter alone, when compared to total wholesale revenues for the previous six months, attributed to the company's partnership with Northern Response.<br /><br />"We are very pleased with the financial results for our third quarter and for the 9 month period ending September 30, 2011. For us to increase our revenue in the third quarter by 15% over the second quarter and 19% over the first quarter is a very positive sign that GSP RUSHFIT is gaining significant traction in the retail market place," said president and CEO, Jeffrey Sharpe. <br /><br />"Typically revenues for health and fitness products experience seasonal trends with the first quarter of the calendar year most often generating the largest proportion of annual sales. Retail sell through of GSP RUSHFIT has happened very quickly and is now for sale in over 4000 stores across Canada, as well as is for sale in the US with strategic sporting goods retailers. <br /><br />"We look forward to expanding our distribution channels internationally and extending our marketing and advertising reach throughout the balance of 2011." <br /><br />Despite expenses more than doubling on a year-over-year basis for the first nine months of 2011 to $2.26 million, losses narrowed to $416,025, down from a net loss of $1.02 million for the nine-month period in 2010. <br />For the third quarter, net loss came in at $70,441, down from a loss of $230,028 in the second quarter. <br /><br />The GSP RUSHFIT DVD series was launched in December of last year. 			<description><![CDATA[<p>Digital Shelf Space (<a href="http://www.proactiveinvestors.com/companies/sponsors_landing/3699/digital-shelf-space-3699.html" target="_blank"><a href="/companies/overview/9423/digital-shelf-space-9423.html">CVE:DSS</a></a>)  reported Tuesday that its global distribution partner Northern Response  will start to sell its GSP Rushfit home workout DVD series, featuring  mixed martial arts champion Georges St-Pierre, to U.S. sporting goods  retailer Sports Authority this fall.</p>
<p>"As with Canada, we have had a tremendous initial response from  retailers in the U.S. and anticipate that more U.S. retailers will look  to add GSP Rushfit to their product line up over the coming months,"  Northern Responses VP of marketing, Don Cameron, said in a statement.</p>
<p>"The U.S. retail distribution of GSP Rushfit is the first of what we  hope to be many more countries that we will add to retail and sell GSP  Rushfit."</p>
<p>Northern Response represents Digital Shelf Space globally, with distribution partners in over 90 countries around the world.</p>
<p>President and CEO of Digital Shelf, Jeffrey Sharpe, commented: "We  were pleased to learn from Northern Response that we have secured U.S.  retail distribution and that the Sports Authority, with 460 stores in  the U.S., has chosen our GSP Rushfit workout series."</p>
<p>"Being on the shelves at the Sports Authority starting this fall is a  significant milestone for our Rushfit product and gives consumers even  greater accessibility and convenience to purchase the GSP Rushfit  program."</p>
<p>The fitness workout series, designed to appeal to a demographic  interested in mixed martial arts and its training methods, aims to give  both an efficient and effective workout at home with minimal equipment.</p>
<p>The video, which launched December last year, is an eight-week  home-based DVD workout program staring mixed martial arts welterweight  world champion Georges St-Pierre.</p>
<p>Digital Shelf said the program uses many mixed martial arts  conditioning exercises, intense circuit style training and body weight  training for fitness consumers to build muscle, cut weight and get in  shape.</p>
<p>Last week, the home entertainment provider announced that its workout  series would hit the stores in Canada, to be available for retail at  Sears Canada and Zellers this fall.</p>
<p>Digital Shelf Space, producer and online distributor to digital  retailers and content owners, also sells digital downloads and streaming  video formats online.</p>
<p>Shares of the company climbed 2 cents higher on Tuesday morning, or 10.71%, to 16 cents a share.</p>]]></description>

<p>In a statement, Digital Shelf&rsquo;s CEO, Jeffery Sharpe, said:"We are  very pleased that Sears Canada, one of Canada&rsquo;s largest retailers,  operating in all provinces and territories across Canada with a network  of 196 corporate stores and 195 dealer stores, has chosen our GSP  RUSHFIT workout series."<br /><br />"Being on the shelves of Sears Canada  will give consumers even greater accessibility and convenience to  purchase the GSP Rushfit product."</p>
<p>In the first six months of the year,&nbsp; the company, which also  provides online delivery technology to digital retailers, said total  revenue came in at $1.1 million, driven by its GSP Rushfit workout video  as it gains traction in the market.</p>
<p>Revenues for the second quarter ending June 30 were $0.58 million, a  3.6% increase over the previous quarter despite the fact that sales for  the company's health and fitness products typically generate the most  revenue in the first quarter, it said.</p>
<p>As of last month, Digital Shelf had sold over 25,000 copies of GSP  Rushfit and had over 20,000 followers on its GSP Rushfit Facebook page.</p>
<p>In addition to product sales directly through the GSP Rushfit  website, wholesale sales grew 195% in the second quarter through the  company&rsquo;s partnership with Northern Response.</p>
<p>The product sold to Northern Response was distributed to Canadian retailers like Future Shop, Best Buy (<a href="http://www.proactiveinvestors.com/companies/overview/2503/best-buy-2503.html" target="_blank">NYSE:BBY</a>) and Walmart Canada (<a href="http://www.proactiveinvestors.com/companies/overview/1130/wal-mart-stores-inc-1130.html" target="_blank">NYSE:WMT</a>). Northern Response anticipates the workout video to be sold in over 3,000 stores across Canada by third-quarter&rsquo;s end.</p>
<p>Digital Shelf even said it plans to expand internationally in the  coming months as the company boosts its advertising and marketing  efforts.</p>
<p>On the cost side, operating expenses during the first half of the  year rose to $1.48 million, up from around $0.56 million a year ago. The  company, which is debt-free, said the increase was a result of higher  expenses related to its public listing, and from increased revenue due  to its GSP Rushfit series.</p>
<p>Although expenses almost tripled, Digital Shelf&rsquo;s net losses narrowed  to $0.35 million, compared to a net loss of $0.55 million, in the prior  year period.</p>
<p>In June, the company also announced that former president of  Lionsgate Films, and CEO and founder of THINKfilm, Jeffrey Sackman, was  appointed to its board.</p>

<p>The Vancouver-based company&rsquo;s stock traded at 14 cents Tuesday afternoon on the TSX Venture Exchange.</p>]]></description>
