Livingbridge UK Microcap fund chasing 'attractive, long-term returns' from sub-£250mln companies

Ken Wotton, manager of the Livingbridge UK microcap fund, discusses with Proactive their investment criteria and performance.

The fund, as the name suggests, is focused on UK microcaps with a market capitalisation of less than £250mln.

Wotton adds: ''It's a pretty concentrated fund ... there's currently 43 holdings''.

'A bit of patience is required but the longer term returns we have delivered have been strong'', he says.

''The businesses we try to focus on are not cyclical, they're small companies where the management teams are capable enough and agile enough and the business models are robust enough that they can still grow their profits even if the economic environment is not as favourable''.
