Company Statement:
Century Iron Mines Corporation is a mining company with mineral exploration and development activities focused on iron ore. Listed on the TSX - stock symbol FER, it has iron ore rich mining properties in Western Quebec south of James Bay and in the well-known Labrador trough that spans North-Eastern Quebec and Western Newfoundland and Labrador. Century has interests in the following mineral exploration projects:
- the Duncan Lake project (currently has a 51% interest with an option to increase to a 65% interest under an option and joint venture agreement with Augyva Mining Resources Inc. (TSXV: AUV)), to date drilled 176 holes and 50,878 metres and land position of 13,075 hectares (net interest 8,499 hectares);
- the Attikamagen project (currently has a 51% interest with an option to increase to a 60% interest under an option and joint venture agreement with Champion Minerals Inc. (TSX: CHM)), to date drilled 99 holes and 12,499 metres and land position of 34,348 hectares (net interest 20,609 hectares);
- the Sunny Lake project (100% owned by Century Iron Mines Corp.), to date drilled 137 holes and 19,711 metres and land position of 25,692 hectares; and,
- the four Altius regional iron ore projects in the Labrador Trough: Astray, Grenville, Menihek and Schefferville. (100% owned by Century Iron Mines Corp), to date no drilling has been completed and land position of 164,991 hectares.

Duncan Lake Iron Ore Property
Location: Western Part of the La Grande Greenstone Belt
Mineral: Iron (Fe)
Property Size: 5,848 hectares
Resource: 5.7 MT Measured @ 23.29% Fe; 25.6 MT Indicated @ 23.48 and 821.5 MT Inferred @24.56% Fe
The Duncan Lake property (“DLIOP”) is located approximately 570 km north of Matagami, Québec, which is the nearest mining community, using a paved road (Highway 109), connecting Matagami to Radisson. Road distance from Montreal to DLIOP property is estimated to 1,350 km. The property is located 50 km south of Radisson and 10 km south of the LG2 regional airport.
The property is subdivided into six (6) different blocks (Deposits 1 to 6) located close to and apart from Highway 109. Deposits 1, 2, and 5 are located southwest of the highway and Deposits 3, 4 and 6 to the northeast in the lateral extension of the other deposits. The property consists of 125 mining claims covering 5,489.19 hectares. All claims were registered as CDC (“map-designated claims”) in the Québec Province electronic system, with boundaries automatically attributed by the system. The DLIOP is subject to a joint venture agreement between Canadian Century, which holds a 51% interest and Augyva, which holds a 49% interest under an option and joint venture agreement dated May 20, 2008.
On May 20, 2008, the Century Iron Mines Corp. signed an option and joint venture agreement with Augyva Mining Resources Inc. (“Augyva”). On November 11, 2010, the Company completed its funding of $6,000,000 to earn an initial 51% interest in the Duncan Lake Deposit in accordance with the option and joint venture agreement entered into between the parties in May 2008. Pursuant to the agreement, and after earning the initial 51% interest, the Company will have the option to increase its interest in the property to 65% by expending a further $14 million in the following 4 years thereafter.

Attikamagen Iron Ore Property
Location: Schefferville area, Quebec (Labrador Trough region)
Mineral: Iron (Fe)
Property Size: 31,000 hectares
Resource: Mineral resources and mineral reserves have not been delineated as of yet.
The Attikamagen Iron Project includes one group of claims straddling the boundary between the Provinces of Quebec and Newfoundland and Labrador. The property includes 405 designated cells located in Québec and 617 claims located in Labrador, covering an aggregated area of approximately 345 square kilometres. The claims are registered to Champion Minerals Inc. (“Champion”). Their boundaries have not been legally surveyed.
The property is located approximately twenty kilometres northeast of Schefferville, Québec and is accessible by air. The Schefferville area is characterized by a sub-arctic continental climate with mild summers and very cold winters. This area is in the boreal forest with low rolling hills rising 600 to 700 metres above mean sea level.
On March 25, 2010, the Century Iron Mines Corp and its subsidiaries signed an option and joint venture agreement with Champion Minerals Inc. (“Champion”) exercisable as follows:
- to earn a 51% interest, an aggregate of $7.5 million in exploration expenditures by March 26, 2012 (of which $5.8 million of exploration expenditures have been incurred to date);
- to increase to a 56% interest, $2.5 million in exploration expenditures by March 26, 2013, and
- to increase to a 60% interest, $3.0 million in exploration expenditures by March 26, 2014.

Sunny Lake Iron Ore Property
Location: Schefferville area, Quebec (Labrador Trough region)

Property Size: 26,000 hectares
Resource: Mineral resources and mineral reserves have not been delineated as of yet.
This Sunny Lake Iron Project includes two separate group of claims (Lac Le Fer and Rainy Lake) comprising 335 and 195 designated cells registered to 849873 BC Ltd., a member of Century and covering an aggregate area of approximately 25,850 hectares. It was acquired in 2009 by staking for its potential to host iron mineralization. The Lac Le Fer and Rainy Lake properties are located respectively sixty-five and eighty-five kilometres northwest of the town of Schefferville, Quebec and are accessible by air. The Schefferville area is characterized by a sub-arctic continental climate with mild summers and very cold winters. This area is in the boreal forest with low rolling hills rising 600 to 700 metres above mean sea level.
