South Australia is home to some of the world’s most significant uranium mines and copper-gold projects. Through diligent planning, Southern Uranium has secured acreage across South Australia’s Gawler Craton and is now intensively advancing a number of exploration projects.

While South Australia is the company’s primary focus it has also secured acreage in world-class uranium provinces in the Northern Territory and Queensland. During 2008 / 2009 the target definition phase identified numerous targets utilising innovative exploration techniques and are being made ready for a campaign of drill testing in 2009 / 2010:

	Initial scout drilling at Jungle Dam intersected high uranium, silver and iron ore values confirming the opportunities to apply step change exploration for diverse metal potential over the emerging Eyre Peninsula region of South Australia.
	More than 20; uranium, copper gold silver and iron ore targets indentified within a large surveyed area of East Eyre Peninsula - new aircore drilling underway.
	Added the exciting Ridgeback Project, northern Yorke Peninsula over 30km of regional extensions to the fault zone hosting the Rex “Hillside” copper, gold uranium discoveries with two Hillside-style magnetic targets already identified.
	Pandanus West project in north Queensland prepared for drilling to follow up high grade uranium intersections by past explorers.
	Gained government collaborative drill funding to test the remodelled geological framework for unconformity uranium targets at Calvert Hills in the Northern territory.
