Richmond Mining (ASX:RHM) is developing the Buena Vista Iron project in the U.S. The project is an advanced pre-development iron ore project with potential for early production located 450 kilometres NE of San Francisco in rural Nevada, in the heart of the most “mining-friendly” state in the USA.
Access to the project area is east via Interstate 80 from San Francisco to Lovelock and then 38 km south on bitumen and well formed gravel road. A rail head is located at Lovelock and the Southern Pacific railway that parallels Interstate 80 connects to four ports in the San Francisco region. Power is available within 10 km of site. There is an established bore field on project area for process water.

Loongana
The Loongana project is situated on the Nullarbor Plain approximately 500 kilometres east of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia and between 40 to 90 kilometres north of the Trans Australia railway line. It consists of two granted exploration licences (E69/2444 & 2445) that cover an area of 1,205 km2.

Throssell
The Throssell project is 100% owned by Richmond. Korab Resources Limited, a company listed on ASX joint ventured
into the project area in 2005 and is currently earning a 50% interest. The Throssell project is held by two granted tenements and four tenement applications. The exploration area lies at the northeast margin of the Yilgarn Craton and is located 420km northeast of Kalgoorlie.

EXPERIENCED, PRO-ACTIVE BOARD
The Board of Richmond Mining Limited has a blend of geological, financial and legal skills. All Board members have experience in mineral exploration, project development and resource management which will assist in the cost-effective advancement of the existing project base.
The Board has a strong relationship with experienced technical consultants and they will be used, together with inhouse personnel, to evaluate the existing projects as well as additional projects that may be acquired.

Howard Dawson – Non-Executive Chairman
Qualifications: B.Sc (Geology), AFG, SFFINSIA
Howard Dawson had an 11 year career as a geologist before entering the securities industry as a research analyst in 1987. Over the subsequent 16 years he fulfilled a number of complimentary roles within the securities industry including research, corporate advisory, business development, senior management and equity partner for firms including Hartley Poynton, McIntosh Securities, Merrill Lynch and ABN AMRO Morgans Limited.
Mr Dawson brings to the Board of Richmond Mining technical, financial and corporate skills which will be used to compliment executives and consultants engaged to explore the existing projects as well as potential new resource projects as the Company develops. He is also a Director of Latin Gold Limited, Discovery Capital Limited and Heath Drilling Company Pty Ltd.
Jim Malone – Non-Executive Director
Qualifications: B.Comm, ASA
Jim Malone has worked as an accountant, stockbroker, CEO of a medium sized business and Director of various mining companies for the past 22 years. Mr Malone is currently the Chairman of Monaro Mining Limited, Managing Director of Latin Gold Limited, Director of Atlantic Limited and Quest Petroleum NL.
Previously Mr Malone worked for Arthur Andersen accountants, Hartley Poynton stockbrokers, CSFB and Lehman Brothers merchant banks in London and for the West Coast Eagles and Richmond Football Clubs, the latter as CEO from 1994 to 2000. Mr Malone has worked in Perth, London, Melbourne and Santiago, Chile.
Since 2000, Mr Malone has been involved in the successful listing and management of five ASX listed resource companies that have successfully explored for and, or are in, the process of developing gold, uranium and oil and gas assets in Australia, United States, South America and Europe. During this time Mr Malone has been involved in equity raisings of over $50 million.
Greg Barns – Non-Executive Director
Qualifications: BA/LLB
Greg Barns is a lawyer and company director. He is currently a non-executive Director of Monaro Mining Limited, Republic Gold Limited and coal mining services company, Resco Pty Ltd. Mr Barns holds a BA/LLB from Monash University and is a member of the Tasmanian Bar. He is also admitted to practice in Victoria and New South Wales.
Mr Barns is a former political adviser to a range of state and federal ministers and premiers and he was the inaugural CEO of the Australian Gold Council from 2000-02. He writes a monthly column for Gold and Minerals Gazette and is the Australian correspondent for Canadian monthly, Resource World.
Mr Barns was involved in the successful listing in 2004 of Republic Gold Limited and has conducted a number of investor roadshows in North America for that company.

Mr Higginson was formerly an Executive Officer with the Australian Securities Exchange and has over the last 22 years been the principal of his own corporate consulting practice. He has accumulated extensive expertise in public company administration, corporate finance, corporate governance, corporate law, capital raisings, ASX Listing Rules and company secretarial duties.
He has held Board, company secretarial and senior management positions with a number of Western Australian based resource and exploration companies. In particular, he was an integral part of the team involved in the exploration, feasibility study and early development of the Ravensthorpe Nickel Project.
