Red Sky Energy (ASX: ROG) is an Australian exploration company focused on coal seam gas. It has extensive acreage in Queensland and New South Wales which is well located to supply either local power generation or the emerging LNG industry in eastern Australia.
The Company has substantial certified reserves and recently made an exciting shallow gas discovery, both in the highly prospective Clarence Moreton Basin.

Management
Gerrit de Nys - Non Executive Chairman
One of the founders of the construction materials division of the Hong Kong based Shui On Group, which he grew into a major business. With IMC Group, he grew the shipyard operations in Thailand into a business employing in excess of 2,000 people, repairing some of the largest ships in the region and constructing offshore oil/gas platforms.
Also with IMC he was instrumental in establishing the IMC Resources Group with in excess of $100 million in seed investments in a number of ASX listed and private companies. Gerrit also has oil and gas experience as a non executive director with Horizon Oil, which has amongst others oil production in New Zealand and gas developments in PNG.
Rohan Gillespie - Managing Director
As Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Rohan created and led BHP Billiton's CSG business until it was sold to AGL. Since forming his own company in 2006, Rohan has advised several major corporations on CSG. Prior roles include credit executive with Commonwealth Bank, corporate development with Ceramic Fuel Cells and Renewable Energy Corp, and gas commercialisation with BHP Petroleum.
Murray Durham - Non Executive Director
Prior to joining Red Sky Energy, Murray was the Director of Oil and Gas Marketing at Apache Energy where he was responsible for marketing Apache's Australian crude oil production, managing its many gas supply agreements and played a role in Apache's recent decision to enter the LNG business. Previously he was Global Business Manager for BHP Billiton's global coal seam gas business.
Murray has extensive gas marketing and commercialisation experience as well as a sound technical foundation as an exploration geologist with BHP Billiton and Shell Canada. Murray is a Director of the Australian Pipelin Industry Association and an Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
Guy le Page - Non Executive Director
Mr le Page is currently a Director and Corporate Adviser of RM Corporate Finance specialising in resources. He is actively involved in a range of corporate initiatives from mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings to valuations, consulting and corporate advisory roles.
Guy was head of research at Morgan Stockbroking Limited (Perth) prior to joining Tolhurst Noall as a corporate Advisor in July of 1988. As head of research, Guy was responsible for the supervision of all Industrial and Resources research. As a resources analyst, Guy published detailed research on various mineral exploration and mining companies listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. The majority of this research involved valuations of both exploration and production assets. Prior to entering the stockbroking industry, he spent 10 years as an exploration and mining geologist in Australia, Canada and the United States. His experience spans gold and base metal exploration and mining geology, and he has acted as a consultant to private and public companies. This professional experience included the production of both technical and valuation reports for resource companies.
