New Guinea Energy Ltd is an Australian company focusing on oil and gas exploration in PNG. New Guinea Energy possesses one of the last available highly prospective, onshore, non-aligned acreage positions in SE Asia.

PNG has a favourable tax regime with incentives for oil and gas development.
The Papuan Basin is a proven petroleum play with a similar petroleum system to the offshore Australian North West Shelf.
NGE has 6 onshore Petroleum Prospecting Licences (PPLs) covering more than 52,000 sq km.
These 6 PPLs contain an excellent exploration inventory of 6 prospects and 94 leads, The 6 prospects contain contingent prospective resources (Mean) in excess of 600 mmboe, while the top 10 leads add an additional 1800 mmboe.
Farmout Agreement signed in September 2009 with Talisman Niugini Limited on PPL 268 and PPL 269 to fund seismic programs (US$11 million) and up to 6 well programs (US$90 million) over the next few years.
Good access to PPLs is provided by the Fly River and the ports of Aiambak and Kiunga. The existing all weather roads connecting Kiunga to the Ok Tedi mine provides great access for drilling operations and significantly reducing well costs by limiting the use of helicopters.
A number of significant oil and gas discoveries are proximal to NGE's PPLs.

MICHAEL N ARNETT
Executive Chairman
Mr Arnett is a consultant to and former Partner and Member of the Board of the Natural Resources Business Unit of the law firm Norton Rose (formerly Deacons). He has more than 20 years experience in the areas of capital raising, corporate, commercial, banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions and securities predominantly in the mining, oil and gas sector. He is a director of a number of public and private companies, including Cloncurry Metals Limited, Nexus Energy Limited, NRW Holdings Limited, and Queensland Energy Resources Ltd.
SIR MICHAEL R BROMLEY
Non – Executive Director
Sir Michael, KBE, born in Hereford England, has lived in numerous countries including the Seychelles, Kenya, Zanzibar, Australia, Russia, China and Papua New Guinea. After leaving school, he joined Collins and Leahy a public company trading in the Highlands of PNG and subsequently started his own company Bromley and Manton in 1973. Sir Michael sold Bromley and Manton to Collins and Leahy in 1983 and took the position of MD until 2000 when Collins and Leahy was sold to Swire. Sir Michael has extensive commercial experience in Papua New Guinea having been on the board of a number of companies including Air Niugini (Chairman in 1987, 1988, 1998, 2001 and 2002) and Orogen Minerals Limited. He is currently Chairman of Heli Niugini Limited (since 2006) and Chemica Limited (since 1996) and is on the board of Steamship Trading Company Ltd (from 1986 to 1996 and since 2000), Sek No: 35 Limited (since 1990) and Maps Tuna Limited (since 1997), Chemica Ltd and Hoia investments Ltd, all entities operating in PNG.
ANDREW L KENT

Andrew is an experienced business manager and corporate advisor with over 40 years experience in international equities and media. He is the Chairman of Aspermont Limited and was CEO of that company from 2000 to 2005. He holds directorships in Maqyar Mining, Excalibur Mining and Water Resources Group. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
ANDREW MARTIN

Non Executive Director
Andrew Martin is a member of the Institute of Company Directors and has a Diploma of Agriculture and a Diploma of Rural Business Management. He has operated his own business in the services and supplies sector of the resources industry in Australia, as well as operating his own pastoral interests. From 2002 to 2003 he was an independent director of Sunshine Gas Limited, before that helping Sydney Gas Ltd with logistics. Previously, he has enjoyed high level executive involvement in Queensland and National agricultural industry politics as an elected representative for 15 years. Andrew was a non-executive director of ASX listed Ord River Resources Limited from its foundation in May 2004 until 24 March 2009.
ANDREW YOUNG
Non-Executive Director
Mr. Young has enjoyed a career spanning nearly 35 years in the oil and gas industry. He holds a B.E. (Chemical) degree from Melbourne University and an Executive MBA (Honours) from the University of Rochester, New York. He has experience across all areas of the upstream and downstream energy business, having held technical, leading management and board positions in major and small E & P operating companies and contract service companies, including onshore and offshore oil/gas operations; gas processing, transportation, distribution; specialist pipeline engineering services; drilling and core analysis contract services. He has established a wide network of industry, business and professional society, relationships worldwide through his activities.
Mr. Young has served on a number of public, private and not for profit Boards. Presently he is a Non-Executive Director of Digitalcore Pty Ltd. of the National Safety Council of Australia (NSCA), the UNSW School of Petroleum Engineering, and The Society for Petroleum Engineers Foundation. He served as the international President of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (2003) and as a Councilor of APPEA (2007/2008).
Grant Worner B.E (Chemical) (Hons), MBA, GAICD
Chief Executive Officer
Grant joined New Guinea Energy in mid 2011 after a 22 year career with BP where he filled senior roles in Exploration and Production, Trading, Refining, Marketing, and BP’s corporate head office including 12 years international experience in Belgium, the United Kingdom and the United States of America. He has a first class honours in Chemical Engineering from the University of Queensland, an MBA from the University of Western Australia, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
