European Gas Limited is a hydrocarbon producer/developer/explorer with projects in western Europe. The strategy of the company is to develop Coal Bed Methane and Coal Mine Methane projects, in particular, in France where the company has major holdings under licence.  The permit and application portfolio covers over 10,000 square kilometres in France, Italy and Belgium and contains the largest unconventional gas resources ever assembled in continental western Europe.

Contingent resources have recently increased over eight fold to 8990 Petajoules (8.5 trillion cubic feet or 240 billion cubic metres) and work in progress will significant increase the company’s resource and reserve position.
The recent acquisition of Gazonor has launched the company into gas production which is sold principally into the French national pipeline network.

The western European natural gas market is substantial with advanced infrastructure, including extensive pipeline networks and a free and open market.

The company also holds hydrocarbon royalties in the Canning Basin of Western Australia.

Mr. Julien Moulin BA (Hons), Masters Asset Management (Hons)-Chairman
Mr Moulin is co-founder of Maoming Investment Manager Ltd, an investment management company investing globally in listed and unlisted companies.  He has held positions at Global China Fund, SKI Capital and UBS Global Asset Management. Mr Moulin also holds directorships with Envision Energy and Legend Media Inc.

Mr Peter Cockcroft-Managing Director
Peter Cockcroft is a Life Member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), was a distinguished Lecturer for SPE on Risk, a Life Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, a Life member of the South East Asian Petroleum Exploration Society (SEAPEX), a Certified Petroleum Geologist of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, a Fellow of the Association for Risk Management, as well as authoring more than forty technical and commercial papers. He has been on the boards of companies in the U.S., India, Kuwait, China, as well as Australia and Indonesia. He is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of the Institute of Directors. He was recently a member of the AIPN LNG GSA drafting committee.

Mr. Rod Bresnehan BAppSc-Non-executive Director
Mr Bresnehan has 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in both upstream resources and reserves development; and in downstream commercial and marketing areas, with specific recent emphasis on coal bed methane projects. He has held positions at Santos Limited and Oil Company of Australia (Origin Energy).  Mr Bresnehan is currently Chairman of the Australian Council of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and a director of Clean Energy Australasia and Energy Resources Development.

Mr. Sebastian Hempel BSc., LLB., Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance-Non-executive Director
Mr Hempel is a corporate lawyer with over 18 years advisory experience with ASX listed companies and in the resources sector.  He has held positions at Minter Ellison, Macquarie Bank Limited and the Australian Securities Exchange.  Mr Hempel also holds directorships with Prosperity Resources Ltd, Greenwich Legal, Conchinta Nominees Pty Ltd and is a member of the Council of the Armidale School.

Mr Mark E Pitts B.Bus, CA-Company Secretary
Mr Pitts is a Chartered Accountant with over twenty five years experience in statutory reporting and business administration in Australia and internationally. He has been directly involved with, and consulted to a number of public companies holding senior financial management positions. Mr Pitts is a Partner in the advisory firm Endeavour Corporate (Endeavour).

Mr Nicolas Ricquart ENSIACET, IFG-General Manager Gazonor S.A.
An engineer with over 20 years experience mainly in operations and projects in the energy sector.  Mr Ricquart has held senior management roles in Exxon Chemicals, EMC (Entreprise Minière et Chimique) and ANDRA (French agency for nuclear waste management) and has conducted Safety, Health and Environment ("SHE") standards implementation for several major corporations.

Mr Eric Allen A.C.S.M  & M.Sc.Eng (Mining)-Head of exploration
More than 30 years of engineering and project management experience in the energy industry in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Mr Allen’s experience includes design, management and coordination of exploration programs and development of a variety of projects with particular emphasis on coal bed methane (“CBM”). Mr Allen has also held senior engineering roles with leading consultants in exploration and evaluation of CBM projects in Canada and internationally.
