Gold Finder Explorations (CVE:GFN) announced Thursday the completion of its phase three diamond drill program at its Golden Rose property outside Sudbury, Ontario.

The junior explorer drilled two diamond holes totalling 625 metres, and has finished testing a chargeability anomaly identified late last year during a polarization survey. Results will be released once they have been received and approved by Gold Finder's technical staff.

The two diamond drill holes, GR11-43 and GF11-44, are located, respectively, 25 metres south and 20 metres east of the previously drilled GR10-42 hole.

The Vancouver, B.C. based company also said today that it has acquired an additional claim block near the property, which measures 48 hectares, through staking.

The claim block covers part of a separate iron formation and strikes onto the claims currently held by Gold Finder. The iron formation is exposed at the surface and has not been previously drill tested.

Gold Finder has labeled this area a high priority target due to a polarization survey that reveals the block's strong chargeability and resistivity anomoly, it said, indicating sulphide mineralization associated with the iron formation.

Field programs are to begin immediately, in preparation for a winter drill program in early 2012.
