Well 2011 is now upon us, and we kick off our first forums of the new year in Toronto and Vancouver this month. It is going to be a busy month, and from the look of the markets in the first few days of trading, quite profitable one for commodity bulls too.

Crude is back above $90/barrel, gold, silver and copper continue to test or reach new highs, and rare earth focused companies received a massive boost in interest last week after it was revealed that China had trimmed its export quote for the first half of 2011.

Lithium promises to have an eventful year too, with a number of emerging producers planning major announcements this year.
