Herencia Resources welcomes representative of major shareholder to board

Sen Ming (Jimmy) Lim has been appointed as a director of Herencia Resources (LON:HER) as the nominated board representative for Shining Capital Management.

Lim, 42 years old, is an experienced financial and corporate company director who is currently the managing director of Shining, which holds a 12.35% stake in Herencia.

Lim has previously worked for Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan and KPMG. He indirectly owns 10mln shares in Herencia, which represents about 4.1% of the company's issued share capital.

Herencia's managing director, Graeme Sloan, welcomed Lim to the team.

"This is an exciting time for Herencia, as we look to quickly progress into the producer ranks via our Picachos copper project in Chile and Jimmy's experience in financial and corporate affairs will be invaluable in contributing to the success of the company," Sloan said.
