ZincOx Resources (LON:ZOX) said repair work on its Korean recycling plant has been completed, and the plant is up and running again.

Throughput quickly got up to planned levels, with the plant working at about 94% of the target capacity, processing 581 tonnes of electric arc furnace dust per day.

Zinc recovery is also at about 94% of the target level.

Production at the plant was suspended in early November after the discovery of an area of elevated temperature on the outer flue area due to a blockage on an air injector.

Shares in ZincOx rose 5.7% to 6.74p in early deals.
