Motive Television: Pilsworth to continue as non-exec chairman

Televsion software specialist Motive (LON:MTV) has announced a change in Michael Pilsworth's role at the firm.

From the group's AGM, he will relinquish his executive responsibilities but continue as non-executive chairman, the company told investors.

This will allow him to focus more time on his other business interests.

Pilsworth told investors on Thursday: "I am very confident that the company is now in a position to move forward under our chief executive officer Leonard M Fertig, in order to accomplish its goals.

"Personally, I am happy that I have accomplished the tasks that I set myself on the acquisition of the company's technology in 2010, and look forward to serving the company in a non-executive capacity in the future.

"The development of the Content Express Platform and Tablet TV sets the stage for a rapid period of growth ahead and I am very excited to be able to remain involved, both as a non-executive director and as a shareholder."
