Forbidden Technologies lands first customer for FORscene Server Lite

July 16 2012, 7:17am Deal Done: Pegasus become first customer for Forescene Server Lite.

Forbidden Technologies (LON:FBT) said this morning it has landed its first client for FORscene Server Lite, which ingests video on location and uploads it to the cloud for editing.

Pegasus Works, which films live events and videos, is using the software in its corporate workflows.

Forbidden’s chief executive Stephen Streater said: "The use by Pegasus of FORscene for editing highlights its versatility and its growing role as a cloud video editing platform. 

“Supporting efficient video workflows, FORscene is an attractive option in a growing number of fast-turnaround professional sectors."

Pegasus’ teams use FORscene Server Lite on laptops, at events and film shoots around the world, Forbidden said.

FORscene Server Lite takes the video on location and uploads it into the FORscene cloud for review and editing. 

Alison Driver, Head of Pegasus Digital at Pegasus Works, said: "FORscene Server Lite works well as part of our solutions for international filming and workflow. 

“The system ingests our video content from locations around the world, so that it can be quickly reviewed and edited in the UK before the crew returns. We have found Forbidden responsive to our needs."
