Autonomy to beat market expectations
FTSE 100 infrastructure software group, Autonomy plc (LSE: AU.) climbed 2% after it said it would beat full year revenue and profitability guidance released during a third quarter presentation in October 2008. CEO, Mike Lynch said the company was "very pleased" with the results, especially when taking into account negative currency movements for the group in the fourth quarter and the wider economic turmoil.
Consensus forecast for the 12 months to 2008 are revenues of $502.3 million and earnings per share of 64 cents.
