Business Control Solutions selected by HSBC to improve agent bank fee management

Business Control Solutions (AIM: BCT), the provider of management consultancy services and operational control software to the financial sector, announced that it signed a contract with HSBC to supply its Agent Reconciliation Control.


The Agent Reconciliation Control allows the centralisation of agent bank fees, which can offer cost savings by allowing the bank the ability to assess the most efficient fee models and accurately apportion fees against trading desks, the company said.


Shares in Business Control Solutions jumped almost 15% on the news, and have nearly doubled in the past few months after bottoming out at approximately 1 pence per share.
