Stellar Resources (ASX: SRZ) holds two priority advanced resource projects - a major magnetite project located in South Australia and a high grade tin deposit in Tasmania - as well as a number of exploration properties targeting copper, gold, uranium and nickel.
The company's aim is to develop a minimum 5 million tonne per annum magnetite operation based on the completion of a successful feasibility study at Tarcoola iron ore project in central South Australia.
Stellar Resources reports Renaissance Uranium to commence drilling at Glensea prospect
Stellar Resources (ASX: SRZ) has reported that Renaissance Uranium (ASX: RNU) has contracted a drill rig and will commence core drilling on at Glensea Prospect within the Pirie Basin Joint Venture Project.
The prospect is located in the Eastern Eyre Peninsula of South Australia where Renaissance’s recent rotary mud drill program intersected strongly elevated copper interval (12 metres at 0.42% copper) from 186 metres to end-of-hole.
The current program is to include comprehensive basement core drilling of recent copper intersection.
Additional core drilling of nearby geophysical targets is planned, following assessment of mineralisation style.
All drilling will occur within EL 3978 of Renaissance’s Pirie Basin Project. Renaissance has a right to earn a 75% interest in EL 3978 pursuant to an agreement with a subsidiary of Stellar Resources.
