Goldrush Resources boosts size of private placement financing to $3.4m

Goldrush Resources (CVE:GOD) has increased the size of its previously announced non-brokered private placement financing from $2.0 million to $3.4 million, the West Africa-focused gold explorer said Tuesday.

The offering will now consist of up to 21.25 million units at a price of $0.16 per unit.

Each unit consists of one common share and one half of one share purchase warrant, with each full warrant entitling the holder to purchase an additional common share at a price of $0.21 for a period of 18 months from closing.

Net proceeds will be used to fund the continued drilling and development of the company's 249,000 ounce Ronguen gold deposit in Burkina Faso, West Africa, as well as other properties in the region. Funds will also be used to finance the acquisition of additional projects.

The financing, including the payment of any finder's fees, is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
