Integra Mining appoints John Fitzgerald to board
Integra Mining (ASX: IGR) has appointed John Fitzgerald to the board as non-executive chairman.
As a result of the appointment Richard Maltman, the interim chairman, will resume his normal role as non-executive director.
Fitzgerald has over 25 years of corporate finance and project financing experience in the resource sector. He is the managing director of Optimum Capital and has previously held senior positions at NM Rothschild & Sons, HSBC Precious Metals, Commonwealth Bank (ASDX: CBA) and Investec.
Fitzgerald’s appointment to the board is conditional upon shareholder approval at an extraordinary general meeting expected to held in June.
On April 7 Integra received more high-grade intercepts within very broad zones of gold mineralisation from infill drilling at the Majestic discovery zone.
The results indicate that Majestic is a significant gold mineralised system with excellent potential to be a source of open pit material for the Randalls Gold Project.
