Rock Tech Lithium Inc. (TSX-Venture: RCK | Frankfurt: RJIA) is a Canadian based resource company focused on acquiring, exploring and developing high-quality lithium and rare metals properties.
The Company’s strategy is to acquire and develop lithium properties that are at various stages of development — from early-stage exploration projects to advanced-stage exploration projects that have been the subject of prior work programs and/or contain historic resources that can be brought to NI43-101 standards and positioned for production within a reasonable timeframe.
Rock Tech reports more drill results from Georgia Lake; inferred resource estimate by June
Rock Tech Lithium (CVE:RCK) has announced additional drill results from its first phase exploration program at the Georgia Lake lithium project in northwest Ontario, which continue to confirm the historical resource data for the property.
Highlights of the assay results include 1.17% lithium oxide (Li2O) over 16.0 metres in drill hole NC11-04; 1.32% Li2O over 9.0 metres in hole NC11-01; 1.43% Li2O over 7.0 metres in hole NC11-05 and 1.19% Li2O over 8.2 metres in hole HW11-02.
Rock Tech said it has now completed the first phase of the exploration program, which consisted of 7,682 metres of diamond core drilling over 47 holes, and metallurgical testing.
"The remainder of the drill results will be reported as they are available, and will contribute to the data set Caracle Creek International Consulting will utilize to provide the Company an independent NI43-101 resource estimate for the Nama Creek and Conway claim blocks," said president and CEO Eunho Lee.
The company is aiming to complete an NI 43-101 compliant inferred resource of the Nama Creek and Conway leases by the end of June, with results from metallurigical testing expected by the end of May.
Rock Tech said it will begin the phase 2 of the exploration program this summer, which will entail drilling the remainder of the claim blocks on the property to bring the historic resource associated with these assets to NI 43-101 standards.
"By the end of Phase 2 of the exploration program, we expect to have an expanded resource and to have all of our resources fall into these three categories [measured, indicated and inferred].
"The execution of these planned activities is to position the Company to begin its pre-feasibility study by December 2011,” added Lee.
