EnviroGold appoints Ugo Cario as director
EnviroGold (ASX: EVG) has appointed Ugo Cario as a director as part of its ongoing board changes.
Cario has a track record of over 28 years experience in the Australian mining industry. He was a director and CEO of Rocklands Richfield (ASX: RCI) for over four years, and managing director of Austral Coal Limited for over eight years.
EnviroGold intends to make two more appointments to the board later this year, with one likely to be a Canadian Mining Engineer with experience in Latin American gold operations.
EnviroGold is proposing a listing on the main board of the Toronto Stock Exchange to tap a wider base of investors including North American investors that have a keen understanding of mining projects in Latin America.
The move would see EnviroGold relocate its operations to Vancouver, shifting project development, engineering and exploration management.
