Gulf Industrials restructures board
Gulf Industrials (ASX: GLF) has appointed Jonathan Best and Robert Jurd as non‐executive directors to the board.
Best has a long track receord in senior management, leadership and business strategy in the mining industry, including the Anglo American and De Beers groups.
He currently has a number of Independent Non‐Executive Directorships, including AngloGold Ashanti Holdings Plc and JSC Polymetal, and will chair Gulf’s audit committee.
Jurd has served as an executive for TransNatal Coal Corporation, Goldfields, Gencor (which merged into BHP Billiton), as well as head of resources of the investment banking division at ABSA Corporate and Merchant Bank for 9 years.
In his new role Jurd will serve on the audit committee.
As part of the board changes, Scott Reid will stand down as director with immediate effect.
