Cadillac Ventures progresses project development at Thierry mine
Cadillac Ventures (TSX-V:CDC) said Monday it has hired technical support services provider Aecom to move forward with project development at its Thierry mine site near Pickle Lake in northern Ontario.
The company said that Aecom has already begun a program of water monitoring and structural assessments at the property to start the dewatering process.
In addition, a diamond drill program is currently ongoing at the site, designed to test for shallower extensions of mineralization from the known deposit. Of the six holes planned, three were completed by the end of last year, each of which intersected mineralization where anticipated.
The remaining three holes will be drilled later this month, Cadillac said. After the drilling program is complete, the company will undertake an updated NI 43-101 compliant resource calculation and scoping study.
Aside from Thierry, Cadillac owns several exploration projects in Spain in joint venture with MATSA and other exploration projects in Canada.
