Berkwood Resources has made public its geological model

Berkwood Resources Ltd (CVE:BKR) has made public its 3-D preliminary geological model for the Lac Gueret zone 1 graphite discovery in Quebec.

This is based upon 4006m (meters) of wireline core drilling carried out over three campaigns of work by the firm in 2017 and 2018.

"We hope shareholders will review the model video presentation and will be as buoyed with the evident potential of the Zone 1 discovery as we are!" said chief executive Tom Yingling.

"The company is focussed on maximising the predictive aspects of the work thus far to ensure that the next campaigns of work will be as efficient as possible in bringing us to a reportable resource that is underpinned and guided by our metallurgical learning as well as the MALM and drill-bit generated data."

The aim of the model is to  assist the firm with planning for an electromagnetic (EM) geophysical survey and a campaign of further drilling with a view to extending the known mineralization at Lac Gueret Zone 1.

The company expects  for the next campaign of drilling to furnish the data and knowledge required for the preparation of a reportable graphite resource report.

The firm is targeting a resource sufficient for the preparation of a preliminary economic assessment (PEA) report.

Berkwood shares are unchanged at $0.07.
