Live Company Group Plc (LON:LVCG) shares rose in early trading Tuesday after its subsidiary, Bricklive Education Limited (BLE), secured a content agreement with digital education firm ImmersiveMinds Limited.

The media group said BLE would work closely with ImmersiveMinds to develop and enhance educational content for its BRICKLIVE shows globally, starting with the BRICKLIVE Dallas event at the end of January 2019 where ImmersiveMinds will run the ‘Coding Corner’ of the show.

The Dallas show is the first BRICKLIVE event in the US market and follows Live Company’s Animal Paradise exhibition, which is backed by The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and is scheduled to tour 20 cities in China over the next three years.

ImmersiveMinds’ founder, Stephen Reid, who has worked in digital education for 18 years and represented organisations such as Microsoft and the BBC, will become a director of BLE and receive a 20% shareholding in the subsidiary in return for his services.

Andrew Smith, managing director of Live Company, said that combining education with the digital age would “further increase the demographic of BRICKLIVE, especially as we move into new markets in American and globally”.

Smith added that the company’s future plans included the creation of education programmes and lesson plans that will be integrated into BRICKLIVE shows.

Shares were up 2.5% at 80.5p.
