Drone firm Deveron UAS Corp gets national special flight operations certificate

Agriculture-focused drone group Deveron UAS Corp (CSE: DVR) continues to fly higher as it was awarded a flight certificate for its expanding fleet of unmanned aerial systems in across Canada.

It was awarded a  national special flight operations certificate (SFOC) for operations of its rotary-wing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems.

It means the company can operate nine additional makes and models in its expanding UAV fleet, meeting common customer demands for increased operational flexibility.

Expanding footprint

"As Deveron continues to expand its footprint, we are excited to be granted the continued privilege of working with Transport Canada at the National level,” said president and chief executive David MacMillan. 

"As the use of data collected by UAVs expands across multiple industry verticals and becomes more widely adopted, we are happy to be able to support this growth by providing impactful solutions to our customers."

Deveron’s drone data service network allows customers to obtain on-demand, actionable data.

Drone data helps farmers reduce costs and increase both yields and profit.

Shares in Toronto today stood at C$0.20.
